Designed and developed BDtv (branddamic.com/tv), a fully custom-coded internet TV and streaming platform built entirely from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no page builders, no templates.
The platform positions itself as a premium gateway to movies, live TV, OTT series, and broadband internet services, targeting audiences across the US and Africa with a rich, entertainment-first user experience.
The project required building a multi-page website architecture from the ground up, including a dynamic homepage with an animated hero slider showcasing featured content such as movies, TV shows, and live broadcasts. Each page — Home, About Us, Services, Subscription/Pricing, and Contact — was individually crafted to deliver a cohesive visual identity consistent with the brand's bold, dark-themed entertainment aesthetic.
On the content side, the site features a fully structured movie and TV show catalogue with filterable genre categories, star ratings, and episode metadata, giving users a Netflix-style browsing experience. Content featured on the platform spans a wide range, from international blockbusters and wrestling events to African entertainment channels such as Africa Magic and Big Brother Naija, reflecting the platform's diverse and multicultural audience.
The subscription section was designed with clear pricing tiers and conversion-focused calls-to-action, guiding visitors from content discovery through to sign-up. A testimonials section with client feedback and a service-area availability checker were also built and integrated to build trust and support lead generation.
Beyond the core UI, the site was optimised for responsive performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, with careful attention to layout consistency, typography hierarchy, image presentation, and loading performance. Custom shape graphics, layered visual elements, and cinematic imagery were used throughout to reinforce the premium streaming brand identity.
This project demonstrates strong capability in building visually complex, content-heavy platforms using clean, handwritten code — without reliance on CMS frameworks or third-party builders — making it a standout example of frontend development skill, creative UI design, and structured multi-page web architecture.
